Chairman of the Board

 

Mr. Moore is the Chairman of First Landmark Bank and Landmark Bancshares, Inc. He has served as the Managing Partner of the law firm Moore, Ingram, Johnson & Steele, LLP, since its 1984 inception. He specializes in real estate and zoning law, is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Cobb County Bar Association and serves on the Georgia State Board of Bar Examiners.

Prior to becoming a board member of First Landmark Bank, Mr. Chipman was Chairman of the Board of Midtown Bank & Trust Co.  He retired from banking in 2002 after serving as Chief Executive Officer and a founding director of Lanier National Bank in Gainesville, Georgia.  His career in the industry also includes thirteen years as a senior executive of Citizens Bank of Gainesville and as a bank examiner with the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance for four years.

Mr. Cole was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Robert Bowden, Inc., a Marietta, Ga-based wholesale building material company recently purchased by Atlanta-based BMC in 2015. Under his direction Robert Bowden, Inc. earned many national and regional honors and recognitions including one of the Top 100 privately held companies in Atlanta and Small Business of the Year award given by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.  He previously served on the Entrepreneurial Advisory Board for the Federal Reserve Bank and completed his undergrad and MBA degrees at the University of Georgia.

Mr. DeWitt joined First Landmark Bank at its inception in 2007 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From 2011 until the merger with Midtown Bank in 2014, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer|Chief Operating Officer of First Landmark Bank. In 2016 he will serve as the Chairman of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.

 

Previously he served from 2003 to 2007 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of New South Federal Savings Bank in Irondale, Alabama.  From 2001-2003 Mr. DeWitt served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Financial Investors of the South, Inc., and its subsidiary Bank of Alabama.  In 1998 Mr. DeWitt received the Outstanding Young Bankers Award from the Alabama Bankers Association.  His experience in metro Atlanta includes serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Chattahoochee Financial Corporation and The Chattahoochee Bank in Cobb County from 1986 to 1990.  He began his career with Price Waterhouse in Atlanta in 1983.  Mr. DeWitt is a 1983 graduate of the University of Alabama where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  He is a member of the Leadership Cobb Alumni Association, the Marietta Country Club, and the Rotary Club of Marietta, where he was named a Paul Harris Fellow.  He served on the Board of Directors and is Finance Committee Chairman of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and the Cobb Community Collaborative.

Mr. Fields is involved in real estate investment and development of retail properties in the Southeast.  In 2002, he was the founding partner of Millennium Retail Partners, a retail real estate consulting firm that has now ceased operations but previously worked with Circuit City, BJ’s Wholesale and Pharmaca stores. Prior to his retirement in 2002, Mr. Fields served as Senior Vice President of Real Estate for Home Depot. In that role he led both domestic and international real estate activities for the company as it expanded its traditional stores. Home Depot Expo, various concept stores, Home Depot Supply, plus office and distribution facilities.  Mr. Fields joined Home Depot in 1984 when the company had only 19 stores. When he retired, Home Depot had grown to over 1,300 stores.  Mr. Fields earned a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

A native of Atlanta, Mr. King is President of Kim King Associates, LLC, a real estate development and investment company founded in 1972.  Kim King Associates develops retail, office, residential and mixed use properties, primarily in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Prior to joining Kim King Associates in 1999, Mr. King was a Vice President at B&I Lending, LLC, a small business lender which specialized in government guaranteed lending, primarily through the USDA and SBA.  Mr. King worked with various community banks across the southeast to originate and underwrite loans in a variety of industries and markets. Mr. King serves on the Board of Midtown Alliance and lives in Midtown Atlanta.

Mr. Kryder became President and Chief Executive Officer of First Landmark Bank in 2014 following the merger of First Landmark Bank and Midtown Bank & Trust Co. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Midtown Bank from 2005 to 2014.

 

Mr. Kryder became President and Chief Executive Officer of First Landmark Bank in 2014 following the merger of First Landmark Bank and Midtown Bank & Trust Co. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Midtown Bank from 2005 to 2014. Mr. Kryder began his career in Atlanta in 1979 with the C&S National Bank and has held increasingly senior executive responsibilities with the following financial institutions: Bank of America, formerly known as NCNB National Bank; Well Fargo, formerly known as First Union Corporation; and Regions Bank, formerly known as AmSouth Bancorporation.  He served as Executive Vice President of General Banking for the state of Georgia for First Union, now known as Wells Fargo, as well as served as a Director of their Georgia bank and a member of their Corporate Management Committee.  He also led large merger integration teams and strategic initiatives throughout the country.  He led a 200 new branch initiative in Florida and managed large business units covering multiple states and lines of business.  Mr. Kryder is on the Advisory Board of the Metro Atlanta Chamber and is a Director of the Midtown Alliance. He also served his professional peers as Chairman of the Georgia Bankers Association in 2013-14 and currently serves on the American Bankers Association’s Government Relations Committee.

Mr. Pressley is Chairman of the Board and former CEO of Unified AV Systems, Inc., an industry he entered in 1980 as Chairman and President of Multi Media Services, Inc., where he served until 1995. Unified AV is a leading audio-visual, videoconferencing and collaborative video communications integrator in the Southeastern U.S. region. The company is headquartered in Atlanta with offices in South Carolina and North Carolina.  In 1995 Mr. Pressley joined Transus, Inc., formerly a regional LTL motor common carrier, as Vice President-Finance and Administration and was later named President and Chief Executive Officer. While at Transus, he remained CEO of protracted companies Multi Media Services LLC and Incom LLC, and merged Multi Media with a similar company in North Carolina in 2011 to form Unified AV Systems. He graduated Harvard University cum laude in 1976 with a BA in Economics.

Dr. Sinyard has served as Managing Director and Principal of Corporate Finance Associates, an international investment banking and strategic advisory firm, since 2009. He has over 30 years in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, investments, operations and commercial real estate.  Dr. Sinyard’s career includes his years with a boutique investment bank, as CFO and COO of two private equity start-ups, at Holiday Inn Worldwide as SVP Corporate Finance and Development and Treasurer, and in the commercial real estate finance industry.  Dr. Sinyard completed his undergrad and law degree at McGill University and in 2013 completed a Doctorate in Business Administration at Georgia State University.

A Marietta native residing in Atlanta, Mr. Smith is Vice President of Little & Smith, Inc., an independent insurance agency with a long history in the Marietta/Cobb community. Mr. Smith is a member of Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia and serves on the industry’s Advisory Council with several insurance companies.  Mr. Smith serves on the Board of Directors of Buckhead Baseball, the Atlanta Junior Golf Association and Pace Academy.  His civic and social affiliations include Rotary, the Atlanta Forum, Marietta Country Club, Capital City Club and Peachtree Golf Club.

Mr. Swales has provided quality workmanship as a developer and builder of many prestigious communities throughout Cobb and Fulton Counties. Mr. Swales began building in Cobb County in 1973 and formed Province Properties, Inc., in 1985 and later established Province Development, Inc.  Mr. Swales’ honors include several professionalism awards from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, of which he is a member.  He has also served on the Executive Committee of the Cobb County Home Builders Association.
